花蓮縣國小學童對養動物與種植物的知識與態度之研究

本研究的目的在於探討花蓮縣國小學童對養動物與種植物的知識與態度以及兩者間之關連性。以研究者所發展之問卷為研究工具,有效樣本322位六年級學生,取自花蓮縣的城市、鄉村、山地共14所小學。
本研究之主要研究結果如下:
1.花蓮縣國小學童對養動物與種植物的知識與態度大致良好,問卷的平均得分百分比分別為:知識部分=63.57; 態度部分=82.04
2.在「國小學童養動物與種植物知識問卷」的得分上,不同族群、居住地區、社經地位等變項,其差異分別達到統計上之顯著水準。但不同性別與有無養動物與種植物經驗之學生間則無顯著差異。
3.在「國小學童養動物與種植物態度問卷」的得分上,不同族群、居住地區、社經地位等變項,其差異分別達到統計上之顯著水準。但不同性別與有無經驗之學生間則無顯著差異。
4.花蓮縣國小學童對養動物與種植物的知識與態度之間呈現正相關。
根據研究結果,本研究所提出之建議如下:
國小自然科課程的設計應具有連貫性同時與學童的生活經驗及背景知識相結合,並可多利用電腦多媒體與網際網路等資訊科技來輔助教學。未來之研究可採不同於本研究法之質性研究或質量並重之研究法進行研究,同時可擴大研究對象之範圍至其他年級之學童,在研究設計上,可對養動物與種植物作個別之探究或是進一步對其他研究變項加以探究之。

外文摘要: 

The purpose of this study is to investigate the elementary school students’ knowledge and attitudes toward breeding animals and propagating plants in Hualien County. A questionnaire was developed by the researcher and was used as the research instrument. 322 sixth grade students were sampled from urban, rural and aboriginal elementary schools.
The main findings of this study are:
1. Students’ knowledge and attitudes toward breeding animal and propagating plants were fairly good. With regards to the average scores percentage on the questionnaire, animal section was 63.57% while plant section was 82.04%.
2. Regarding to students’ scores in knowledge toward breeding animals and propagating plants, there are significant differences with ethnic groups, areas of residence and socioeconomic status; there are no significant differences with gender and experiences.
3. Regarding to students’ scores in attitudes toward breeding animals and propagating plant, there are significant differences with ethnic groups, areas of residence and socioeconomic status. On the other hand, there are no significant differences with gender and experiences.
4. There is a positive correlation between elementary school students’ knowledge and attitudes toward breeding animals and propagating plants in Hualien County(r=0.27). However, r2 is only around 7%.
This research suggests that the elementary school natural science curriculum associate with students’ daily life experiences and prior knowledge. In addition, using multimedia computer and computer network to help teaching concepts that are hard to visualize or take time to observe. Moreover, the application of computer technology may overcome the learning difficulties caused by differences in ethnic groups, areas of residence and socioeconomic status. The future research is to adopt the qualitative method or other method of qualitative associated with quantitative analysis. As an extension of this study, the subjects of the research can include other grade students. With regard to the research design, other variables can be characterized regarding to breeding animal and propagating plants.
