本研究以臺北地區上班族為研究範圍及對象，研究目的主要探討上班族之飼養寵物狀況在生活壓力與身心健康之間的關係及影響。 本研究方法以描述性統計、相關分析、多元迴歸分析等統計方法進行資料處理與分析，透過問卷調查法，利用網路問卷及紙本問卷進行便利抽樣發放問卷，回收有效問卷301份問卷，本研究結果發現： 一、在生活壓力與身心健康之關係中，目前沒有飼養寵物者呈現婚姻壓力、家庭壓力及個人與工作壓力越大，則生理健康與心理健康就越差；而目前有飼養寵物者，只有在個人與工作壓力越大時，其生理健康與心理健康才會越差。 二、在生活壓力對身心健康之影響中，目前沒有飼養寵物者之婚姻壓力正向影響生理健康、家庭壓力負向影響生理健康，以及個人與工作壓力負向影響生理健康與心理健康；而目前有飼養寵物者只有在個人工作壓力上負向影響生理健康及心理健康。 本研究針對感受婚姻壓力及家庭壓力程度高之上班族，建議其可藉由飼養寵物來調適生活壓力以利維持身心健康。建議未來研究可針對不同人口統計變項或飼養寵物種類加以區分，予以更深入了解飼養寵物在生活壓力和身心健康之間的影響關係。
This study was to examine the relationships between employee’s life stress and perceived health with different experience of pet ownership. The research subjects were Taipei employee, and 301 valid questionnaires were received. The descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and linear regression analysis were analyzed the data. The results of this study were: (1) Employee without having pet, the marriage stresses were negatively correlated with mental health; the stress of family, personal and job stress were negatively correlated with physical health and mental health. However, employee who have one or more pets, the personal and job stress were negatively correlated with physical health and mental health. (2) The marriage stress of Taipei employee who have no pet positively affect the physical health; however, family stress negatively affects the physical health, and personal and job stress also negatively affect the physical health and mental health. Furthermore, the personal and job stress of employee who have one or more pet negatively affect their physical health and mental health. The researcher suggests that employee who perceive with marriage stress or family stress could cope the stress by raising a pet. For the future research, the researcher suggests to add more controllable variables to the subject.
