繪本教學對國小低年級學生犬隻動物保護教學之研究

本研究藉由犬隻動物保護繪本教學課程從事教學實驗,採準實驗研究方式,探討本課程對國小二年級學童其犬隻動物保護知識、態度之影響。研究對象為台中市和平國小二年級兩班學生,一班為實驗組,實施十節課的犬隻動物保護繪本教學;另一班為對照組不進行教學。兩組學生教學前一週施以前測,教學後一週施以後測。再輔以上課討論文字稿、學習單、教學省思記錄、協同教師觀察記錄及與教學研究小組的討論等質性資料,探討教學成效。經由資料分析,發現研究結果如下: 一、以單因子共變數分析,排除前測分數的影響後,參與教學的實驗組學童在犬隻動物保護知識、態度量表後測得分,顯著高於未參與教學的對照組學生,由量化數據顯示犬隻動物保護繪本教學實驗對學童犬隻動物保護知識、態度有顯著影響。 二、以成對樣本t檢定進行分析,實驗組學童在犬隻動物保護知識、態度量表後測、後後測得分,顯著高於前測得分。由以上結果可知「犬隻動物保護繪本教學課程」的實施前、後,對國小二年級學童犬隻動物保護知識、態度有顯著差異,肯定教學的成效且教學效果能持續。 三、學生基本資料中除「性別」、「是否看過有關狗的繪本」外,其它向度「飼養犬隻的經驗」、「飼養流浪犬的經驗」、「被狗咬過的經驗」、「被狗咬傷過的經驗」、「被狗追過嚇過的經驗」、「學童是否喜歡狗」、「家長是否喜歡狗」、「是否看過有關狗的電影」等向度並沒有顯著差異。 四、教學研究小組從上課討論的資料、學習單的分析、研究者的省思 記錄及實驗班級導師的觀察記錄,發現學生的學習歷程表現達成教學預定的目標,因此從質性資料的分析肯定教學的成效。 本研究建議教師教學時可補充課外書籍,以增加學童獲得犬隻相關資訊的機會。繪本教學時(1)善用多媒體(2)留意繪本的選擇(3)提升教師的專業能力;未來可針對不同教材做教學比較。

This study adopts quasi experimental research to engage in the instructional experiment via picture book instruction and to inquire how the lessons influence the knowledge of and the attitude toward dog protection pertaining to Grade-2 students. The subjects are two classes of Grade-2 students from Heping Elementary School in Taichung City . One class was set to be experimental group with the implementation of 10-lesson instruction. Another class was set to be controlled group and left unengaged in the lessons.The pre-test was done a week prior to instruction and the post-test was done a week after the instruction ended.The learning process record was engaged with the qualitative data like teaching notes from teacher,observation made by assistant teacher,students' learning sheets,discussing in the class and group discussion of teachers. Through the data analysis,the findings are: 1.The influence of the pre-test points was excluded via indepentent ANCOVA;the experimental group demonstrated higher points in knowledge and attitude than the controlled group after the instruction.It indicated that the instructional experiment in picture book instruction affected the knowledge of and the attitude toward dog protection for students. 2.Via pair t- test, the post-test of experiment group demonstrated higher points in knowledge and attitude than the pre -test after the instruction.The result affirmed the effectiveness of education in picture books. 3.Except 「gender」, 「ever read about dog's picture books」,the other individual experience toward dog protection knowledge and attitude had no significant influence. 4.The teachers and students involved in the experiment showed positive recognitions of picture book lessons. Based on the research findings,recommendations were suggested as following(1) use multi-media aided instruction(2)be careful to choose picture books(3)promote teacher's capability;compare with different teaching material.
